Niutech Scales Plastic-to-Oil Recycling with Continuous Pyrolysis
The system enables stable, high-capacity conversion of mixed waste plastics into pyrolysis oil for closed-loop petrochemical reuse.

Niutech has developed industrial-scale, continuous waste plastic pyrolysis production lines designed to address recycling limits associated with mixed, contaminated, and low-value plastics. The technology focuses on plastic-to-oil conversion in applications where conventional mechanical recycling is ineffective or economically unviable.
Unlike batch-type pyrolysis systems, Niutech’s continuous process is based on independently developed dynamic sealing and intelligent temperature control technologies. This configuration enables long-cycle, stable operation without frequent shutdowns, reducing energy losses and improving throughput consistency. A single production line can process more than 30 tonnes of waste plastic per day, with annual capacities starting at 10,000 tonnes and scalable through customised system design.
The technology is engineered to handle a wide range of feedstocks, including mixed waste plastics, marine plastics, medical plastics, and waste textiles. This flexibility allows low-value plastic waste streams to be converted into usable pyrolysis oil rather than being landfilled or incinerated.
Niutech’s continuous pyrolysis systems have obtained international certifications including EU CE and German TÜV. In a large-scale chemical recycling plant in Vietnam, the equipment converts waste plastics into pyrolysis oil that is directly supplied to downstream chemical plants as feedstock for producing recycled plastics, enabling a closed-loop “plastic–oil–plastic” process.
The equipment integrates waste heat recovery to achieve energy self-sufficiency and reportedly reduces carbon emissions by 66% compared with traditional processes. As recycled-content mandates and carbon reduction targets tighten globally, continuous plastic-to-oil pyrolysis is emerging as a technically viable route for large-scale chemical recycling.
